PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM!

GOD TV urges viewers to stand with Israel this weekend via two timely broadcasts: ‘Israel Is Forever’ on Friday and ‘Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem’ on Sunday.

An outstanding worship experience, Israel Is Forever includes everything from an operatic rendition of ‘Jerusalem, the Holy City’ by Ben & Vera Karlsson to the more contemporary pop sounds of The Arrows, followed by prophetic worship led by Kim Clement and his band.

The programme includes an interview with the Mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat who tells Rory & Wendy how much he appreciates the support of Christians worldwide. “There’s room for people of all faiths to come and visit and go back as ambassadors of peace, to share how beautiful, spiritual and cultural Jerusalem is!” he said. Viewers will also be challenged by Pastor Fiona Des Fontaine’s message on the prophetic significance of Israel: “Jerusalem is the central location for God’s supremacy to be demonstrated!” she says.

Kim Clement is known for music that transcends culture, race and religion, and a prophetic ministry that attracts a broad spectrum of people. Hearts will also be stirred by his prophetic declarations, including ‘Israel Is Forever!’  “God saw this moment in time, when a mantle would be cast upon a generation,” says Kim Clement. “This is the beginning of a global outpouring of God’s Spirit that will start in Jerusalem and spread throughout the earth.”

DAY OF PRAYER FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM WITH ROBERT STEARNS

Founded by Jack Hayford and Robert Stearns in 2002, the annual Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem is endorsed by over 1,200 Christian leaders and 200,000 churches and is an urgent call to intercede for God’s purposes to come to pass in His Holy City. It airs on the GOD Channel in Australia on Sunday 9 October at 22.00 (ST).

Hosted by Robert Stearns at the Haas Promenade overlooking the city the broadcast will include prayers from Arab, Jewish and Christian believers, interspersed with worship and dance. Participating ministries include Bridges for Peace, the International Christian Embassy, Jerusalem; Christ Church, Jerusalem and Succat Hillel. The deputy mayor of Jerusalem, Naomi Tsur and Gila Gamliel of the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus will represent the Israeli Government.
